Lightroom Training (Advanced) is a 3-hour class for those who already have experience with Lightroom and seek insights into advanced post-processing through techniques and tips to take their workflow and editing to the next level (also recommended for those who attended the introductory Lightroom Training (Beginner) class).

The class is taught in English. A laptop with any version of Adobe Lightroom installed is required for the class, PC or Mac.

Topics to be covered include: in-depth use of all global and local adjustment tools for image refinement, enhanced creativity through use of split toning, tone curve and Hue, Saturation and Luminance (HSL), how to create High Dynamic Range (HDR) and panoramic images, black and white processing techniques, introduction to printing workflow, transform tool, guidance on advanced organisation and many other tips and tricks along the way.

You should take this class if you

– have experience with Lightroom beyond a basic level but do not feel as if you know how to use all the tools effectively or to utilize its full editing functionality
– have previously taken a basic class and practised editing for some time but now feel ready to learn more advanced post-processing techniques and how to deal with more complex image editing situations
– want to know how to edit and output like a pro for everything from internet use to printing and publishing

You will leave class with

– a complete and robust RAW processing workflow with full working knowledge of the most commonly used advanced tools in Lightroom, while making sure you have a good handle on the basics.
– refined image processing techniques for colour and black and white to make your images stand out and look professional
